And you'd think with the humidity there they'd need to be 'dressed' like the Washington Redskins!

No, I'm not on Facebook or Orkut. No social networking, as of now. I hope you'll be writing a lot in the near future. Thanks for stopping by my last post on the IPL. I must say I'm really impressed u actually watched a domestic game! the only games i saw were the ones i covered:-)...

anyway i loved this post and couldn't agree more with everything u said. Mayanthi Langer was one of the main reasons i watched the ICL (she's steamy!) and she's good enough to send these metrosexuals (exception to ajay jadeja) in the IPL to the doghouse! she knows her stuff, unlike these 'guys', if im allowed to call them that.

I've never felt the need to have cheerleaders in cricket but since they're there, we might as well embrace them (if only it was physically possible to do that :-)) . these killjoys are always out there and frankly im not surprised this issue on skimpy clothes was raised.. chennai superkings have stayed clear of the controv. and u would have noticed..

On the IPL i must confess Im quite surprised by the response. i saw super kings v knight riders in chennai last week and the atmosphere was electric.and dhoni is being hailed as a 'local'. that guy can sell just abt anything. SRK is trying too hard and his shameless self promotion makes me sick (i change the channel each time the korbo lorbo nonsense plays )... my big concern abt the IPL is the length of the tournament...lets see if the interest sags during this month..

btw, r u on facebook or orkut?Kanishkaahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07855694981887919987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2261282820839735697.post-73716311459867673662008-04-27T21:45:00.000+05:302008-04-27T21:45:00.000+05:30Mercury: Trust me, you're losing absolutely nothin...Mercury: Trust me, you're losing absolutely nothing by not getting to watch the IPL. In fact, consider yourself lucky you're escaping the overdose. How I wish we could just make the politicians disappear!Jayahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04576822154583724575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2261282820839735697.post-32636272012312610482008-04-27T16:12:00.000+05:302008-04-27T16:12:00.000+05:30Bang on Jaya!Haven't had a chance to watch too muc...Bang on Jaya!

Haven't had a chance to watch too much of it except for clips here and there but it's turned into real mela is what I hear. Deplorable though that is, you're absolutely right, the first people who need to be gagged ought to be those damn politicians..

The (expletive) really need to learn to butt out of things they really have no jurisdiction over and try to focus on those things they are really in charge of.

You realise that all the fanfare is going to increase gradually as we head to our election next year.. Each jackass will start laying claims to the indian identity as though he is the chaste expert that is completely desolate over our westernisation!Mercuryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15579662714228176010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2261282820839735697.post-4884203964082588622008-04-27T16:10:00.000+05:302008-04-27T16:10:00.000+05:30This comment has been removed by the author.Mercuryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15579662714228176010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2261282820839735697.post-91963636282809314062008-04-27T08:43:00.000+05:302008-04-27T08:43:00.000+05:30Revathi: Thanks again :). What on earth is it about?!

Arun: Thank you :). I see you're still pretty much besotten by Mayanti...hopefully she'll be around in the next edition of the ICL as well.

rUpiE: I was browsing around when I came across your blog...thanks for dropping in :).Jayahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04576822154583724575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2261282820839735697.post-55320573100610708952008-04-27T00:48:00.000+05:302008-04-27T00:48:00.000+05:30Hi. Sheeeesh!! what the hell does the preity zinta know about cricket or juhi chawla for that matter?? they have bloody made a cricket page 3. i wouldnt be surprised if they combined the page 3 and sports columns in future. on second thoughts not sports in general but just cricket!!
Lovely but of writing!! :)Revshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06011093878116665635noreply@blogger.com
