cant think of any but the first wodehouse book I read was 'A prefects uncle' and that had cricket in it !
'A Prefect's Uncle' was my first Wodehouse too. All his school stories have sports in them- football, cricket, boxing- all delightful. I'm looking for some true-life sports stories.
ok...Ashes victory 2005 - The best sports book...lotsa humor in it... ;)
And of course the opening match at the T20 WC 2009...or is that a taboo topic?
as taboo as you talkin about a certain mr.Button! or perhaps you dint see the 2nd match?!
Button? Oh yes, he has suddenly chosen to remind us of his existence. Let's see how far that goes. And I suppose Hamilton isn't in the picture for a while, too? Like the Aussies, of course- one thing we finally agree on!
"The art of sledging" by J.HaroldIf you dont buy it, i am gonna buy and use it on you next time.. GRRRRR....
Ummm...would you need to buy it? You are pretty much well-versed in the 'art', aren't you?
